The Changing Policy Landscape of Cannabis: Implications for Substance Use Disorder

September 24, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

This conference will focus on how the legalization of cannabis impacts substance use disorders and their treatment. We plan to look at this issue through multiple lenses, both how increased access to cannabis and decreased risk of harm may impact rates and treatment seeking for cannabis use disorder, but also evaluating the data behind current claims that cannabis can have opioid sparring effects in pain treatment.
