Dear Business and Community Leader,

Americans across the country are struggling with an opioid epidemic that has devastated individuals and their families. The Maryland Department
of Health understands that the business community has been adversely impacted by the crisis as well, which is why we are reaching out to you.

We have created an electronic toolkit to spread information about Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and save lives when administered quickly and correctly. We believe this resource could prove an important next step in providing your business with the needed resources should you or your employees encounter someone experiencing an opioid overdose.

Toolkit

We know that many Marylanders are willing to help with this public health crisis. If you can, please consider adding the How to Administer
Naloxone link on your company’s website, providing employees and/or customers with access to this important information—click here to learn how. Free brochures and posters in English and Spanish can also be printed and distributed.
