Dr. Imanoel is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Addiction Medicine and he has been practicing addiction medicine full time since 2007. He is currently the medical director of two Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) in Baltimore City and Carroll County.
Along with practicing addiction medicine, Dr. Imanoel continues to practice internal medicine and Emergency Medicine. He travels to the rural areas of Northwestern Minnesota one weekend a month to provide emergency medicine services to underserved communities.
Prior to dedicating his time to the full time practice of addiction medicine, Dr. Imanoel was a primary care provider in Carroll County and operated a dual office-based and hospital-based internal medicine practice. His passion is to help individuals that are afflicted with Opiate Use Disorder.
Dr. Imanoel received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from University of Maryland Baltimore County and attended medical school in Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center.
